Animations are just a little gimmick of Ashampoo Core Tuner 2 which is activated on default. When you apply a profile, an animation with a progress bar of the process appears shortly on the bottom right.

If you do not wish to have an animation displayed, just uncheck the box in front of the option. If you do not see an animation, although the function was not disabled, the profile was applied so fast that the display of an animation would appear delayed and is therefore not displayed.

Generally

Core Tuner trenner Settings

Here settings options for the program and launch behavior can be adjusted.

In order to load you profiles on every system start (this is the requirement for Ashampoo Core Tuner 2 to be active on your system, if you don’t want to start it manually every time), the default setting is that Ashampoo Core Tuner 2 is launched  on every Windows® startup automatically. If you would like to change this setting (which is quite useful for most users), just uncheck the box in front of the appropriate line.

In Security the protection against faulty input can be defined. With Ashampoo Core Tuner 2 you have full control over the system processes, therefore it is also theoretically possible to crash the system when terminating certain  processes. In order to prevent that this happens accidentally, by default the editing or termination of system processes is not possible. If you would like to change this setting, just uncheck the box in front of the appropriate line.

For the same reason also profiles bear a potential risk. With profiles processes (even important ones) can be terminated. Therefore a warning message appears, when you want to start a profile. If you would like to change this setting, just uncheck the box in front of the appropriate line.

The Automatic download of ratings is quite useful. Every day users rate services and autostart programs considering their benefit for the system. Therefore Ashampoo Core Tuner 2 downloads the current ratings daily. If you would like to change this setting, just uncheck the box in front of the appropriate line

Live Tuner

Core Tuner trenner Settings

The configurable Live Tuner, unique in its own kind, speeds up the start of applications and adjusts the priorities of background applications and services in order to take care of the optimal distribution of system resources for running applications.

The Live Tuner provides more resources for starting applications and therefore increases the priorities of processes. Especially if you are running several programs simultaneous, this can have a positive effect on the starting duration of applications. In “Accelerate launches of applications” you can define how long the priority of the starting program should occur. Furthermore, you can decide whether the Live Tuner should be active under CPU load and how high this processor load can be.
